Whatsup Gold 7 + Server 2012 = Blackout
Yes, I know WU 7 is older than dirt, but the problem it's having doesn't make any sense and it ran fine on physical Server2008R2. Management doesn't want to spend money for better tool like Intermapper.
Running on virtual 2012R2 and the web graphics will go from green to blacked out randomly (see photo below), but I can't make it happen reliably. Running in XP SP3 Compatibility mode.
Sometimes if I RDP into the server, blackout. If I just think about WU, blackout. If I change the web server port, blackout.
I've inspected the web elements of WU and the background image is a jpeg, but it's generated inside a web server process, it's not a static file on the computer...
Is there some setting or configuration or command that tells WU to regenerate all background images on X schedule? http://imgur.com/a/kd96v

Alert Suppression in Whatsup gold
We have WUG set up to monitor a number of remote transmitter sites, and it's set up to email us alerts anytime a sync loss trap comes in. The problem is that a site can flap up and down, and quickly generate hundreds of emails. On the original deployment we had to turn off email alerts completely because a few troublesome sites generated thousands of emails over the course of a day.
I've looked around in device settings and in the admin panel, but can't find anything that would allow me to configure suppression of alerts after X number of emails sent. This is on WUG 16.
